I have been sailing since young age and I learned the regatta and started a professional sports career in crew and solo racing. I took part in 12 Tours de France in sailing, 7 Figaro singles, 4 transatlantic races, which allowed me to have several titles of championship in France, several participations to the championships in Europe and in the rest of the world. I am also passionate in the preparation of racing sailboats. 

At the same time, I become a multi-skilled engineer (ENSAM PARIS TECH) which helps me in the approach of mechanics in order to be complete to fully understand the missions of maritime expertise.
Since 2008, I have been sharing my life between sailing sports, my passion, and maritime expertise.

Marc EMIG is a graduate expert of the National Centre for Prevention and Protection (CNPP) and recommended by the Committee for Studies and Services of Maritime and Transport Insurers (CESAM)

My company is based in Marseille and we operate mainly in the Mediterranean, but we are brought to travel all over France and Europe and occasionally in the world (USA, Caribbean, Asia etc...) as we communicate effectively and professionally in English. 

We also have an office in Cannes and we can easily perform a pre-purchase survey there and in its surroundings.

Post-disaster expertise:

• We operate for most major insurance companies and complementary insurance companies to meet the main needs of our clients.
• We organize assistance operations at sea 24/7 (towing, withdrawal, salvage etc...).
• We organize amicable marine expertise with or without a third party after a disaster to determine the causes and circumstances and then quantify the damage.

Technical expertise at the service of litigation management:

We have maritime legal notions allowing us to manage amicable litigation in the context of Legal Protection cases, mediation between insurers or to assist lawyers in the context of court cases to provide absolute justice to our clients.

We carry out follow-up of shipyards for repairs, improvements and transformations of ships as an assistant to the project owner

We are also specialized in the expertise of vessels to meet the needs of individuals or companies during pre-purchase transactions or insurance requests (Pre-insurance expertise). By inspecting marine vessels, we ensure that they comply with standards and regulations.

We also carry out valuations in the context of successions, seizures etc.
